I thought long and hard before I decided to do this cause I cared about this place but why should I care if they didn't... my name there was angel So I worked at this establishment for 2 1/2 yrs straight never called out even with family issues or health I had to be sent home on 2 separate occasions because I was so sick and 1 time cause I went to work with a swollen face after getting wisdom teeth pulled... after 1 year I switched over to staff I didn't have a car so I would take back n forth the 1 hr train ride then walk 15 min to get to the job and Back home same thing... they needed an extra hand so I started to bartend.. I was finally able to get a car I was there every single day cleaning and had my days to bartend.. everything was fine I was there in the good times and bad times literally I used to dance bartend and work the door sometimes at the same time.. cause girls where late or decided not to come in.. so moving forward my last night I cleaned the bar made shore everything was picked. I asked the manager would he be able to check the cameras for me cause one of the girls stole my shoes I wanted to kno who it was and as I was getting ready to clock out as the manager asks me to come to the office I was thinking it was for my shoes but no he proceeds to tell me exactly word for word " this is the hard part about my job but your services are no longer needed" I was in shock I'm like ok well " why am I being terminated?" He simply shrugged his shoulders at me as if he did not kno why.. I was so upset I cried the hole drive home because I put in so much time here..I helped out I did my job I was in that place more then anyone else with cleaning and bar tending.. but u kno I figured hey it has been pretty slow so maybe they just can't have me at the moment.. pause there .. now I'm on Facebook and I see that they are hiring all these new girls and saying they have new faces.. as I see they are all caucasian unlike me who is Hispanic.. I stuck up for this place when everyone else tore it to shreds about them being racist.. but what am I to think that they fire me a hard working women who was there on time literally before management did my job and did jobs I wasn't suppose to do but I did it cause I thought it was noticed cause I cared I wasn't there for the money I was there to help but aside of all of that they still fire me to hire muliple new girls none of color.. I asked for explanation and still till this day almost 1 month after my let go not knowing why I was let go.. I will sit this here and let u make your opinion about it.. I will still never say everything I heard them talk about others or speak bad on them cause I am blessed to find something better but I read this and what would u think if u where in my shoes ? They think they won't seem it because they have 1 Hispanic manager (who is friends with the owners) and 1 African American dancer smfh plz I stuck up for this place but no longer will I put my neck out for a place like this ✌
I've been to this strip club and it is most certainly racist as hell! More than one stripper told me the owners encourage them to ignore blacks and Latinos in order to pay extra attention to white, Indian, and older men. The owner trying to post a rebuttal is a damn liar. Just for reference, a white and black stripper told me the same damn thing so it's not just the preference of the girls. This strip club is racist as hell and I encourage anyone who doesn't want to support racism to stay away from this discriminating establishment.
This place claims diversity when they don't have it. I came in on a Wednesday night to no girls at 7:30. I walk in to a girl on her cell phone who tell me it's free. I walk in to the bartender and having to buy 1 drink (soda) due to it being byob the bartender who was nice what I remember are her big green eyes and her awesome art work (tattoos) she tells me there are no girl but to my surprise she gets on stage and is awesome. she comes down talks to me and entertains me till another girl gets there. but very disappointed because the bartender was better company and danced better then the actual dancer that came in. After the dancer came off of stage she went straight to the back didn't even bother to talk to me. So the bartender apologizes and informed me that Thursday's threw Sunday's are better days to come in. So I decided to stop by on a Sunday after work because I figured hey if it happens again at least I'll have the green eye Spanish bartender to pass time with well to my surprise she is not there and to be told she no longer is there hmmm so this place has no good looking girls the girl replacing her is no where near as good looking as she was and can't even hold a conversation to save her life. the manager who I find out was the girl who first greeted me the first time I visited and was on her phone the hole time and didn't bother to even come in. I walked in and me and the bartender the entire time I was there. This place literally lost the last glimmer of hope with the bartender I came in once again to no girls and some girl that didn't look like she should be behind the bar. So this place is definitely a NO GO no girls no nothing ghost town
I emailed the owners about the allegations of them running a racist establishment. Their emails are not working so conveniently. Babes Nola in NJ is the most racist business I've ever had the displeasure to visit.
Stopped by this place after visiting Playhouse and was very impressed. The staff here was OUTSTANDING!!! Certainly to say the least. Thoroughly enjoyed the B.Y.O.B. idea as you're not paying for overpriced drinks like most places charge. Then there's the idea of not being tempted to drink if you're having a sober night. But the girls here are nicer than the nearby clubs and MUCH MUCH MORE ATTRACTIVE. I had a great night after stopping here. I'll definitely return in the future. I'd also be inclined to visit their sister location in NOLA (New Orleans Louisiana).
Corey Porter, the owner will not respond to the racist allegations because it's true. To say otherwise would be putting his foot in his mouth. I hope this place gets closed down due to this unAmerican practice of racism. I wish the owner would respond to me just so I can make him look like the racist fool he is.
I've emailed both of the owners about the club being racist and received no response. These guys know their establishment is racist, and the racism is promoted by the owners according to several strippers I talked to. This club is great for bigots and racists.
went there on a saturday..expecting some crowd plus pretty/sexy girls. utterly disappointed. they've three stages and just four girls. just two are decent looking. charges 15 for cover plus you'll have to buy at least one drink which is minimum 6 dollars. overall, bad experience and waste of saturday time. you're not missing anything if you don't visit this. one star just for the good ambiance of the club.
This strip club is racist as hell. Black men should avoid this place like the plague. I had more money than everyone else in the club and I was ignored like a bum. One of the strippers told me during a private dance that the owners encourage them to avoid black men. I would never spend a cent in this racist establishment ever again.
